In St. George, Utah, a man named Ryan Michael Gaines, 32, decided to channel his inner secret agent. Sporting only his underwear, a ski mask, and goggles, he approached an ICE Transit Van parked at the local ICE ERO office. Surveillance footage captured him damaging both side mirrors of the van and scratching its side with an unknown object. He even took a moment to flip off the camera before making his escape.

The incident occurred on the night of April 18, 2025, and was discovered the following Monday morning. Investigators reviewed the footage and identified a light-colored Jeep associated with the suspect. The vehicle was registered to Gaines and was seen in the area before and after the vandalism. Police arrested Gaines near his workplace and found matching ski goggles and a balaclava at his residence.

Gaines has been charged with damaging government property, with repair costs estimated at over $2,900. He appeared in court on May 22, 2025, and is presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Reaction: Man thought he was in a spy movie but forgot the part where spies wear pants.
